What you will need:
Proof that you are currently working in the government. Any valid legal document is accepted here.
Have a legal federal ID.
No more than 3 charges when applying for one.
Use the universal form to obtain your Government ID. You should receive a copy of your submission and your ID should be ready within a day.
A government ID is similar to a federal ID. Most government jobs require you to obtain one in order to stay for that government job, or require one after you got hired, it is a valid government and government workers should obtain one within 10 days of your government job. The Federal Government maintains inspections hosted by the inspector of the Department of State, done monthly to all ID's, this means that rules applied to regular ID's are applied to universal ID's, or all identification cards.
You should obtain a Government ID as soon as possible. Different benefits are granted when one obtains a government ID and apports a valid federal ID, your state may also require you to obtain one from theirs.
